Rick Rainey has over 20 years of management experience in the television broadcast products industry. Responsible for sales, marketing and operations of a medium sized manufacturer, he is familiar with every aspect of running a successful New Jersey based business.

Rick joins NJMEP from Datatek Corporation where he was General Manager. Responsible for worldwide sales and marketing, Rick has experience in domestic and overseas sales, marketing, trade shows and distribution. Working with clients from most major broadcasters, he led the company through many successful projects in a demanding industry. Major projects include signal distribution systems for the Olympic Games broadcasts and many large upgrades to public broadcast facilities during and after the reunification of Germany.

Mr. Rainey is particularly sensitive to the needs of small to mid-sized companies, balancing the goals of growth and improvement while maintaining profitability. His company had over 400 active products and because the television industry operates 24 hours/day, clients required fast delivery and superb reliability.

Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Rutgers University.
