Chris Reese has over 35 years of experience manufacturing, marketing and selling industrial plastic resins, film & sheet and packaging products. Chris has also had extensive development, manufacturing and quality engineering experience in plastic resin synthesis, plastic film & sheet extrusion and injection molding.
He served as Technical Manager and Manager of Planning and Distribution for Celanese Corporation directing the production activities of a multi-plant film and sheet division. He directed the national and international sales program for Georgia Pacific Films division and later, for Courtaulds USA.
He started Detroit Manufactured Products, a producer of specialty cellulosic film and sheet, and eventually became the dominant supplier of polished acetate and PVC sheet to the safety equipment and graphic arts industries. Chris acted as General Manager and Sales Manager, opening markets in Japan, Australia Israel and India.
In his most recent assignment, vice president of sales and marketing for VCF films, he recruited and trained a national sales force while developing a business strategy and training program for a proprietary co-extruded packaging film line.
Chris is a hands-on sales and marketing professional with the added benefit of extensive manufacturing and engineering experience – skills and resources which are necessary to the growth of small to mid-sized manufacturing operations.
Chris has a B.S in Chemical Engineering from Drexel Institute of Technology.
