Gerald Najarian is an account manager with NJMEP. He directs the firm’s practices in Business Continuity Planning in conjunction with the NJMEP software solutions partner, Prism e-solutions, for manufacturing companies in the mid-market size sector. A business executive and consultant with more than forty years in manufacturing company management, he has led numerous initiatives to improve manufacturing performance through improvements in the management of materials and scheduling, implementation of Activity-Based-Costing systems as well as through implementation of lean manufacturing and ERP systems.
Prior to association with NJMEP, Mr. Najarian was the proprietor of his own management consulting firm. He was the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly held manufacturing/ distribution company and was a management-consulting partner in a “big four” accounting firm. He is a national director of Financial Executives International, a member of The Association for Manufacturing Excellence, and is a past president of the Princeton-South Jersey Chapter of APICS.
He is a frequent author and speaker on topics of importance to the manufacturing industry. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Najarian holds a BBA degree from Iona College and an MBA from the City University of New York’s Baruch School of Business.
