Prism eSolutions Partners with New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program Inc. to Provide Manufacturing Firms With Enhanced Quality Management Systems Support

Strategic partnership enables New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) to offer clients Prism’s ISO 9000 training, consulting, and Web-based support services

BLUE BELL, PA and NEWARK, NJ (July 16, 2001) – Prism eSolutions, LLC (Prism), a premier provider of ISO 9000 training, consulting, and Web-based support services, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP), in which NJMEP will incorporate Prism’s products and services into its existing service offering. Among the products and services available to NJMEP clients as a result of the agreement is Prism’s equationASP™. equationASP is a unique, Web-based platform that allows small and mid-sized companies to achieve and maintain ISO 9000 certification quickly and cost-effectively, while enabling them to successfully focus their efforts on continual process improvement. The unique web-based platform, hosted by Prism at a secure facility, streamlines project and document management, provides employee training, and facilitates communications management. This integration eliminates up-front software and hardware costs, as well as internal IT resources, which are often heavy burdens on smaller companies.

NJMEP works with a network of private and public sector partners to provide New Jersey’s small and medium sized manufacturers with expert services in new technologies, best management practices, and basic business problem resolutions. When implemented, these services advance New Jersey’s manufacturers to high-performance firms by improving productivity, profitability, and quality. In addition to its Prism-enabled products and services, NJMEP also provides services including, but not limited to, product research and development; process improvement; equipment and software review;; and business planning.
