NJMEP, a not-for-profit company that works with NJ’s small to mid-sized manufacturers to help them become more efficient, profitable and globally competitive, launched the Made in New Jersey program to highlight the contributions of the Garden State’s manufacturers.

On October 4th, 2013, New Jersey will join the rest of the nation in celebrating National Manufacturing Day. The celebration was designed to “expand knowledge about and improve general public perception of manufacturing careers and manufacturing’s value to the U.S. economy.” During the day, students, parents, educators and media members among others are encouraged to visit local manufacturers to learn more about their processes and the career opportunities in the manufacturing field.
