NJMEP Adds Jane Biddle to Board of Directors

Morris Plains, N.J. – The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) announces the addition of Jane Biddle to its board of directors. Board members provide strategic guidance to the organization and advocate NJMEP’s mission to help small to mid-sized manufacturers become more efficient, profitable and globally competitive.

“We are very excited to appoint Jane Biddle. Between her industry expertise, passion for manufacturing and connection with leaders in the field, she will serve as a great resource for NJMEP,” said Frank Wyckoff, Chairman of the NJMEP board of trustees.

Biddle brings decades of experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industries. She currently serves as President of Biddle Associates, a firm specializing in delivering strategic marketing advisory services to technology and service firms. She is noted for her proficiency in market strategy, product management, sales, analyst relations and technology.

Prior to founding her company, Biddle has worked in various executive and advisory positions within or related to the manufacturing industry. She is also an accomplished speaker and author.

Biddle’s addition comes at a pivotal time for NJMEP. In the midst of a widely hailed “U.S. manufacturing comeback,” there has been an intense focus on the sector from the media, government and public. New Jersey’s manufacturers are looking to capitalize on the renewed desire from consumers to buy products Made in America and are reaching out for ways to become more innovative and productive.

NJMEP’s services are geared towards helping state manufacturers increase sales and profit, reduce costs, improve efficiencies and spur job creation. Since 2000, NJMEP has helped manufacturers realize more than $1.6 billion in increased and retained sales, $258 million in cost savings and 18,000 jobs created or retained.

“It is an honor to join NJMEP’s board. Manufacturing is a cornerstone of our state’s economy and NJMEP gives local manufacturers the tools they need to become more profitable and globally competitive,” said Biddle.
