SUMMARY:Food Recall & Withdrawals Online (November 2020)
DESCRIPTION:“A food recall is either a food manufacturer or suppliers’ voluntary response to a mislabeling\, or potential hazard by removing a product from the market place or it is mandated by the FDA in response to a food safety issue determined. The most common reasons for food recalls are allergen mislabeling and the presence of pathogens. Other reasons behind food recalls include incorrect packaging\, wrong food labels and physical contamination.\nThe importance of having a food recall plan is to ensure quick and efficient removal of affected products from the market plane and to allow the identification of key areas of needed improvement to prevent future hazards. Recall and withdrawal procedures are required for food manufacturers under the final FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rule for “Preventative Controls for Human Foods for hazards requiring control.”

SUMMARY:Positive Workforce Alternatives for NJ Manufacturers
DESCRIPTION:Finding and retaining talent continues to be a primary concern among manufacturers in New Jersey and across the nation. At ‘MADE in New Jersey’ Manufacturing Day 2022\, NJMEP hosted an incredible panel discussion that provided direct access to positive alternatives to the workforce challenge. The panel was made up of two organizations that engage with neurodiverse individuals and two that worked with the veteran\, and Army Reserve community\, including military spouses. Both groups can help bridge the current issue of the dwindling manufacturing talent pool. \nAt ‘MADE in New Jersey’ Manufacturing Day there was only a short opportunity to learn about these organizations and make the connection. Now\, this is your chance to hear case studies\, find out more details about how to engage\, and ask your questions directly to these workforce champions. \nJoin us for this no-cost discussion and start bridging that skills gap\, today. \n  \n\n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Company(Required)Address(Required) \n \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n Address Line 2\n \n \n City\n \n \n State / Province / Region\n \n \n ZIP / Postal Code\n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCabo VerdeCambodiaCameroonCanadaCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n Website(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)Email(Required)
