SUMMARY:Food Safety - cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) Requirements and Readi
DESCRIPTION:Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Regulations is the process that ensures the quality of a product by establishing manufacturing procedures making certain that food is safe and has been prepared\, packed\, and stored under hygienic conditions.\nFood manufacturers must comply with cGMP’s through new regulations to be compliant with FSMA.\ncGMP’s are critical\, not only to FSMA\, but to every food safety and quality certification.\nThey are audited by third party food safety auditors and are considered prerequisites.\nThe training will cover the core requirements\, changes to former requirements and best practices on how to achieve compliance. Participants will learn how to handle FDA and third party Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspections. The training will also outline how to interact effectively with investigators so that organizations can not only react to inspections\, but anticipate them as well. \nThe participants will learn and understand the revised (cGMP’s) – according to the final rule for “Preventive Controls for Human Food”\, released on September 17th\, 2015. \nBy the end of the training course\, participants will be able to:\nUnderstand the components and requirements of cGMP within the food and beverage industry.\nImplement cGMP through the organization to ensure sanitary and processing requirements are being met.

SUMMARY:Team Effectiveness & Team Building
DESCRIPTION:This half day virtual workshop provides participants training in team building and team effectiveness. Team Building & Effectiveness is most often a precursor to a focused team based effort to address specific business areas\, or an integral part of a more comprehensive business improvement strategy. During the class\, basic team concepts are covered including\, but not limited to stages of team development\, roles and responsibilities\, ground rules for acceptable team behavior and team decision making processes.\nTeams have become a principal building block of the strategy of successful organizations. Whether the focus is on service\, quality\, cost\, value\, speed\, efficiency\, performance\, or other similar goals\, teams are the central methodology of most organizations in the private\, non-profit\, and government sectors.\nIn most teams\, the energies of individual members work at cross purposes. Individuals may work extraordinarily hard\, but their efforts do not translate into team effort\, and this results in wasted energy. By contrast\, when a team becomes more aligned\, a commonality of direction emerges\, and individual energies harmonize. You have a shared vision and an understanding of how to complement each others’ efforts.

SUMMARY:OSHA 10-Hour Card Training
DESCRIPTION:12/7 8hrs + 12/8 4hrs\nOSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and is responsible for worker safety and health protection.\nSince its inception in 1970\, OSHA has cut the work-fatality rate by more than half\, reduced the overall injury and illness rates in industries where OSHA has concentrated its attention\, virtually eliminated brown lung disease in the textile industry and reduced trenching and excavation fatalities by 35 percent.\nOSHA is administered through the Department of Labor (DOL). The DOL regulates and enforces more than 180 federal laws. These mandates and the regulations that implement them cover many workplace activities for about 10 million employers and 125 million workers.\nOSHA 10-hour training is the primary method used to train workers on hazard recognition and OSHA safety standards. The OSHA 10-hour course for the general industry is for workers who have jobs related to health care\, electrical\, factory\, warehouse\, manufacturing\, storage and more. This OSHA course covers general industry hazards not specific to those working construction-only jobs. Our OSHA 10-Hour Training course is designed to teach workplace safety and reduce jobsite hazards. Workers will learn about hazard avoidance\, workers’ rights\, filing an OSHA Complaint and more.\nWith successful completion of the class\, participants receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10- hour course completion card.

SUMMARY:FSPCA - FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programs)
DESCRIPTION:12/13\, 12/14/2022\nThe following course will provide the knowledge to implement the requirements of the Foreign Supplier Verification Programs for importers of food for humans and animals. \nThis course will provide participants with the knowledge to implement the requirements of the “Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) for Importers of Food for Humans and Animals” regulation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This regulation is one of a number of regulations and guidance that implement the provisions of the 2011 Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)\, which focuses on safe food practices. \nThe FSVP curriculum was designed by regulatory\, academia\, and industry professionals and developed with funding from FDA as part of the FSPCA. Attending this course will help you understand the FSVP requirements and how those requirements can be met in your particular circumstance. \nBy the end of this training course\, participants will be able to: \nBuild the foundation for the FSVP process in which importers can evaluate products and supplies to against the verification requirements.\nConduct supplier verification activities (i.e. hazard analysis\, evaluation\, and approvals\, establish written procedures\, implement corrective actions- if needed)\nHow to keep required records and documentation\nHow to identify the FSVP importer at entry\nUnderstand the FDA’s regulation in detail to effectively implement compliance\, including key differences between standard\, modified\, and exempt requirements.\nThis will be delivered by Lead Instructor (certificate #240a5299) for the FSPCA FSVP Course. In addition to the FSPCA course completion requirements\, our delivery will require passing an exam\, then the participant will receive a certificate.

SUMMARY:DoD Cybersecurity - Are You Meeting Current CMMC Requirements?
DESCRIPTION:DoD Cybersecurity – Are You Meeting Current CMMC Requirements? \nJoin NJMEP for a brief webinar to discuss the current CMMC changes.\nLearn how these changes impact you and what you need to get DoD contracts\, including:\n• The notable changes to CMMC 2.0 and why they matter.\n• Your current DFARS Requirements\n• How DIB contractors can prepare for these upcoming changes.\n• Future planning to get\, and remain\, in compliance. \nEvery manufacturer in the Defense Industrial Base must be compliant with CMMC Version 2.0 Update within the next few months. The time is now to prepare for stricter data protection regulations that will be required in your contracts. This cyber security program not only is required for DoD business you will have an enhanced environment to gain the trust of customers and increase your revenue.\nThe CMMC 2.0 is the most recent version of the DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Built on a foundation of NIST SP 800-171\, the CMMC 2.0 establishes three certification levels that reflect the maturity and reliability of a company’s cybersecurity infrastructure to safeguard sensitive government information on the contractors’ systems. Under CMMC\, a contractor must be certified to be eligible to bid on\, win or participate on a contract.\nWithout a valid CMMC certification the prime and/or sub will be barred from the contract (May 2023 is the target date for contract inclusion). Unlike previous requirements to be NIST SP 800-171 compliant\, under CMMC the contractor can NOT self-certify.
