SUMMARY:Food Allergens
DESCRIPTION:Food allergens are one of the most common reasons for food recalls. Allergen control is an essential part of every food safety program and required by the new FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rule for “Preventive controls for human food”. The training class will explain the major allergens and how to set up an effective allergen program to avoid cross contact and ensure food safety. Participants will create a framework of the allergen program which can be later customized to their business. A certificate for successfully completion will be issued after passing the written knowledge test at the end of the training class.

DESCRIPTION:“This program will consist of two days of training at four hours each. During the program\, participants will have the opportunity to understand the benefits of assessing current preferences and practices using one of the most powerful and multifaceted personality assessments designed to help a person understand who they are and who they can become. Personality Profilers – An instrument designed for self-development\, this profiler will help one identify their strengths as well as learning how to identify the preferences of others that contribute to better communications\, collaboration\, and positive relationships.       \nIn addition\, program participants will gain insight as to how their personality profile and temperament type contribute to organizational effectiveness from both the individual and the team aspects.  Participants will gain insight into what stresses them and how to better manage stress.  The program also provides recommended career paths or occupations that most align with the results of this personality type. \nThis program uses a personality profiler that accurately captures the intricacy and uniqueness of individual behavior. DESCRIPTION:“Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Regulations is the process that ensures the quality of a product by establishing manufacturing procedures making certain that food is safe and has been prepared\, packed\, and stored under hygienic conditions.\nFood manufacturers must comply with cGMP’s through new regulations to be compliant with FSMA.\ncGMP’s are critical\, not only to FSMA\, but to every food safety and quality certification.\nThey are audited by third party food safety auditors and are considered prerequisites.\nThe training will cover the core requirements\, changes to former requirements and best practices on how to achieve compliance.  Participants will learn how to handle FDA and third party Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspections.  The training will also outline how to interact effectively with investigators so that organizations can not only react to inspections\, but anticipate them as well. \nThe participants will learn and understand the revised (cGMP’s) – according to the final rule for “Preventive Controls for Human Food”\, released on September 17th\, 2015. \nBy the end of the training course\, participants will be able to:\nUnderstand the components and requirements of cGMP within the food and beverage industry.\nImplement cGMP through the organization to ensure sanitary and processing requirements are being met.”

A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the course and test.”
