Camp Noble Cause - 10th Anniversary

NJMEP is proud to support through our  ‘Manufacturing Cares” efforts the 10th Anniversary of Camp Noble Cause.

Camp Noble Cause FlyerNJMEP and our NJ Manufacturers & STEM Companies…support this ‘all-volunteer’ effort w/ over $15,000 of donations in the past two years – including products. We were able to provide a portable PA System for their Campfire Program – as well as – foods, and many giveaways.

Camp Noble Cause is celebrating its 10th anniversary at Winnebago Scout Reservation the weekend of June 24-25, 2017. Camp Noble Cause was created as a way to say “thank you” to active duty military members and their families, to acknowledge the sacrifices made by all military family members. The free weekend is open to active-duty members of the Armed Services, Coast Guard, Reserves and National Guard. The families spend the weekend having fun participating in the usual summer camp activities including swimming, zip line, boating, field games, fishing, shooting sports, hiking, archery, and arts and crafts. In addition, they can partake in carnival activities, bottle rockets, pony rides, an ice cream social and a campfire.

Camp Noble Cause is hosted by Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America, along with the American Legion. The staff all are volunteers, giving their time to make the weekend a fun one for these families. Sodexo provides the food and the staff to prepare and serve the meals. Many Winnebago camp staff volunteer their time to run the activities. In addition, we have volunteers from the NRA and BAE Systems. The weekend is so much fun that many volunteers have been returning year after year.
