Laura Fisher serves as the Human Resources Director for New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP). NJMEP employs a team of in-house consultants and maintains an extensive network of partners with a deep understanding of a manufacturing company’s operations. As a trusted advisor to New Jersey Manufacturers, NJMEP leverages staff and resources to identify opportunities for advancement, ways to reduce costs, and improve employee’s performance.
Laura is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at NJMEP, which includes collaborating with Executive and Leadership teams to formulate and execute key HR initiatives, payroll, benefits administration, and achieving HR objectives with a focus on business partnerships, workforce development, and HR operations.
Laura is also a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and Psi Chi Honor Societies.
Laura Fisher holds a master’s degree in labor and employment relations from Rutgers University located on the East Brunswick Campus at the School of Management and Labor Relations.
