Over 65% of new businesses fail within their first 10 years. Established businesses that were traditionally successful often stop growing or lose market share. Why? It is overwhelmingly because businesses don’t spend enough time thinking about the market environment and fail to create viable long-term strategies for success.
In this course, executives will learn how to properly identify, plan and execute business strategies that will increase the likelihood of success. This class will be a guided presentation with exercises, with the goal of participants leaving with an initial outline and draft of a Strategic Plan for their business.
Participants in this class will learn how to:
• Understand why long-term strategy is important
• Analyze the market environment
• Scrutinize one’s own business
• Develop a Vision and Mission statement (and why it is so important)
• Create strategies to deliver the Vision and Mission
• Devise Key Results to measure success
• Set up your business for future growth
• Generate a Change Management strategy if a course correction is needed
