DoE Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) Implementation Grant Program

WHAT IS THE IAC IMPLEMENTATION GRANT PROGRAM?

The U.S. Department of Energy (DoE), in collaboration with its newly established Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA), called ENERGYWERX, has opened an initial round of grant funding for small and medium-sized manufacturing firms (SMMs) to implement recommendations made in Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) evaluations for future funding rounds.

The purpose of this program is to reduce energy costs and reduce carbon emissions in manufacturing facilities.

Rutgers University is acting as the National Field Manager of the IAC program, in collaboration with 37 other Universities (Centers) in the US.

NJMEP is partnering with Rutgers University and through this new IAC Program offering New Jersey Manufacturers energy-saving assessments.
