NJMEP Adds to Leadership Team: Rob Stramara Announced as New COO

Morris Plains, N.J. – The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) announces that Rob Stramara will join its organization as COO. Stramara is an established New Jersey business professional who brings more than 27 years of relevant experience to NJMEP’s management team.

“Rob will make an incredible addition to the leadership group at NJMEP. His technical expertise and ongoing commitment to strengthening New Jersey’s manufacturing sector will help drive NJMEP to another level,” says John W. Kennedy, CEO of NJMEP.

NJMEP is a not-for-profit that helps New Jersey’s manufacturers become more profitable. NJMEP’s services are geared towards helping state manufacturers increase sales, reduce costs, improve efficiencies and spur job creation. The organization is chartered by The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), a network of more than 60 MEP centers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Stramara joins the not-for-profit with more than 27 years of general engineering and material handling experience. Over the course of his career, he has developed industry knowledge as a designer, project engineer, estimator, project manager and engineering manager.

Stramara most recently served as general manager of Thinkpath Engineering where he oversaw all New Jersey office functions and the execution of projects on a daily basis. He has substantial experience managing multi-faceted training and engineering projects ensuring that deliverables remain on target with contractual, quality and schedule requirements.
