NJMEP CEO Joins Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce Education Summit as Business Leaders Panelist

John W. Kennedy, Ph.D., CEO of NJMEP, joined the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce’s Education Summit as a Business Leaders Panelist on Thursday, March 31st. The event began at 7:45AM at The Seasons, 644 Pascack R., Washington Twp. NJ.

The event was an exchange between educators, business leaders, policy makers and bold thinkers as they reviewed successes and challenges confronting education and workforce development. The Business Leaders Panel enabled participants to engage business leaders from their talent acquisition point of view to determine if students are being provided with the mandatory skills needed for jobs in both the present and the future. The panel discussed issues of hiring needs and skills gaps affecting business growth.
