Recent MarketShift Conferences deemed Resounding Success by New Jersey Manufacturers

Cedar Knolls, NJ – The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP), partnering with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) / the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII) and the Federal Government, recently hosted the first two of four MarketShift conferences. The primary focus of these programs, Destination Innovation™ jumpstart and ExporTech™ Intensive, is to offer innovative solutions to establish and promote businesses within the global marketplace.

Additionally, portions of these programs provided information about assisting Department of Defense (DoD) suppliers in growing their businesses. Options were presented to show the steps they can take to diversify their product offerings and expand their customer base.

The MarketShift program is intended for Presidents and CEO’s; VP’s; Directors of International Sales; Directors of Marketing and Business Development; and others in a leadership role for product development, sales & marketing. Individual conference seats are valued at $5,000 apiece. However, the entire program’s costs are being offset by a MarketShift Scholarship, combined with, NJMEP’s Defense-Contractor Discount. To receive this scholarship, eligible attendees must be part of a New Jersey-based manufacturer and are a First-, Second-, or Third-Tier DoD contractor or supplier.

The application process takes only five minutes to complete — either online or over the telephone.
