NJMEP and its partners are coming together to spotlight the influential women leaders who are driving “MADE in New Jersey” forward. While women remain underrepresented in manufacturing—making up just 30% of the industry’s 15.8 million workers, and only one in four leadership roles, according to the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST)—their impact is undeniable and essential. This gap not only reflects missed opportunity, but also contributes to broader challenges, from workforce shortages to a lack of diverse perspectives in decision-making.

NJMEP’s Women in Manufacturing initiative is dedicated to changing that narrative. By elevating the voices and achievements of women across New Jersey, the initiative creates space for recognition, connection, and inspiration—empowering today’s leaders while encouraging the next generation to step forward and shape the future of manufacturing.
