NJMEP Logos and Details

NIST-MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership) – NJMEP is affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and is part of the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Program. The MEP Program contains 51 centers across the U.S. to serve the manufacturing community. Quarterly surveys ensure full accountability and a performance scorecard of certified value for our customers.  NJMEP is currently ranked as the number one MEP center in the country.


Made in New Jersey (MINJ) – The Made in New Jersey program showcases the vast array of products and the companies that produce them, right here in the Garden State. Highlighting the contributions manufacturing makes to the state’s economy, the Made In New Jersey program features companies that are customer focused, forward thinking, continuously improving, and have a desire to grow and compete both locally and globally. A key component of this program is the online directory consisting of our state’s manufacturers and the products they create.


Pro-Action Education Network™- From Pre-Apprenticeship and foundational credentials, through apprenticeships and Train-the-Mentor programs, NJMEP’s Pro-Action Education Network™ is a comprehensive workforce development program for New Jersey businesses. This scalable platform is developed to prepare students and workers to fill open positions, refresh the skills of incumbent workers through open-enrollment classes, assess and pool the demand for education and training across geographic and institutional boundaries, and facilitate collaboration between education and workforce development stakeholders.


Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) – National Manufacturing Day has always been an important way for NJMEP to spread the word about the benefits that manufacturing provides to our Garden State. Manufacturers, government officials, and industry partners from across the state come together to celebrate the industry. Manufacturers are honored for their achievements and recognized for being leaders in their field.


New Jersey Manufacturing Awards – The Manufacturing Awards are a way to recognize Manufacturers and their hard work throughout the year. Awards include Manufacturer of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Raymond Hopp Award for Excellence, MINJ Honor Roll and Affiliate Member of the Year. The finalists are given feedback from their company nomination.


State of the State – State of the State of Manufacturing is an event for Manufacturing professionals, STEM Firm executives, and NJ elected officials to network and discuss opportunities and challenges within the industry. Attendees can listen to industry experts discuss best business practices that will help them gain and maintain a competitive edge in today’s ever-changing global economy.

NJMEP is no longer partnered with Talent Network organizations like Transportation Logistics and Distribution and Advanced Manufacturing but will continue driving the manufacturing workforce forward through industry partnerships. Creating new, and utilizing old partnerships, along with the help of trusted resources NJMEP provides multiple pathways to bolster the talent pool and help New Jersey businesses up-skill their workers through a pro-active approach. NJMEP is designed to be a collaborative organization.
